This Friday, thousands of students skipped school for a seriously good reason: to protest climate change and urge world leaders to do more to save our planet. The Global Climate Strike, held in over 150 countries across the globe, brought the passionate youth out in droves, inspired by 16-year-old activist Greta Thunberg. In New York City, an inter-generational wave of protesters took to the streets at Foley Square, clever signs and chants at the ready. Needless to say, it was quite the scene to behold.
