If you ask us, Donald Trump's grandiose aesthetic was totally nicked from his ex-wife Ivana. Say what you will about the first Mrs. Trump, but the Czech socialite turned entrepreneur turned divorcée icon acknowledged her taste for opulence and shamelessly embraced it. From her hair to her jewelry, she clearly held on to the 1980s motto that "more is more."

Unsurprisingly, she applied that same philosophy to her home. The late socialite, who passed away this July, turned her Upper East Side townhouse into a gilded, gaudy oasis that lands somewhere between Versailles and the Russian Tea Room.

Now that the home has officially hit the market for $26.5 million, we finally have a look inside.

The six story residence spans nearly 9,000 square feet, featuring five bedrooms and bathrooms, and a number of parlors and sitting rooms, all lavishly appointed with Italian crystal chandeliers, gold-embossed marble fireplaces, and sumptuous furnishings. Each space appears to have its own decadently decorated theme, from the all-leopard-print-everything room to the pink-and-gold onyx master bath. Ornate moldings and custom-paneling can be found throughout, while a dramatic curved marble staircase connects each floor. They don't make 'em like this anymore.

Sorry, Don, but not even Mar-a-Lago compares.
