    Take a stroll down 46th Street between 9th and 10th avenues and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a discreet gate bearing the number 422. Completely unremarkable to any regular passerby, simply a sliver of the hidden jewel box locked behind the gateway pokes through.

    An intimate scene out of an Italian piazza, a Parisian courtyard, anywhere but four blocks from Times Square behind a bunch of tenement buildings that have sprung up around it since its construction in 1871. The fairytale carriage house once owned by former governor of New York, George Clinton - even considering its location - is likely one of the city's most magical places to call home.
