Ipanema
Located just north of Times Square in the area called "Little Brazil," Ipanema separates itself from others in the area with its Luso-Brazilian inspiration. The combination of Brazilian and Portuguese cuisine leaves each dish packed full of color, flavor, and a Latin spin that'll take you out of your seat and onto the beach. Try their Vatapa, which is monkfish and shrimp smothered in a sauce made of shrimp puree, nuts, and spices, to further that on-the-beach feeling. Plus, it's a nice alternative to the vast amount of meat-heavy dishes in Brazilian cuisine.
