Bâtard, named after a French bread similar to a baguette, is a golden-walled food oasis in Tribeca. The prix-fixe menu, ranging from two to four course offerings, is prime European sophistication. It currently includes such whimsical offerings as Octopus "Pastrami," Sweet Potato Agnolotti, and Caramelized Milk Bread.
