Dominique Ansel Kitchen
There is nothing at the end of a line that could be worth waiting for. The reason we've never had a cronut? We've been having a life. Which is why it's taken a bit for us to consider Dominique Ansel Kitchen as an actual brunch option. But it seems the opening night of the new Harry Potter film-esque queues that many a hyped up restaurant commands in New York have made their peace, simmering into the expected, respectable 10-15 minute wait for a table of two. And just in time, since we've been spending some serious mental time mulling over their squid ink brioche, topped with garlic mashed potatoes, mushroom béchamel, confit egg yolks, cheese and chives to top this savory volcano of mush all off.
