A Flower-Filled Rosé Bar Is Taking Over This NYC Rooftop For The Summer

by Stephanie Maida · May 26, 2021

It's officially #RoséSZN in the city!

Ampia Rooftop, the sprawling FiDi destination that became a fan-favorite this year thanks to its private miniature greenhouses and seriously indulgent Italian cuisine, is kicking it off on May 28th with a stylish rosé pop-up bar in partnership with Tormaresca Winery in Puglia.

Set amongst the rooftop terrace's gorgeous skyscraper views, the Calafuria rosé bar aims to take New Yorkers on a journey to Italy without leaving the city. To evoke the feeling of summer in Puglia, Ampia and Calafuria have teamed up with Floratorium to create a lush floral installation featuring pink Bougainville, green foliage, curly willow, and wisteria branches, along with a custom mural designed by renowned Italian illustrator Valeria Petrone, depicting Calafuria’s "Lady Puglia," who appears on the wine's limited edition labels.

Of course, Ampia's beloved selection of Italian bites will be available to perfectly pair with the crisp and summery rosé, including Gnocchi alla Crudaiola, fresh burrata with prosciutto and black truffle, Pizza Margherita or Pizza Bianca topped with prosciutto di parma, arugula, fior di latte and shaved parmigiano, and a selection of Panini di Pesce, fish sliders made with salmon, octopus or lobster.

Come for the rosé, stay for the Instagram photo ops - there'll be plenty of both to go around!
