Park Slope: Talde
We all known chef and owner Dale Talde as one of the contestants on everyone's favorite reality cooking competition show, "Top Chef." And although Dale didn't actually win his season of the competition, we think its safe to say that from the success of his cult favorite neighborhood restaurant, he is definitely winning at life. Situated in the cozy Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, Talde serves up tapas sized dishes of what can be effectively described as "funky fusion" Asian cuisine. How else would you describe pork and chive potstickers wrapped in pretzel dough or an all-American bacon, egg and toast breakfast platter reinvented as a bowl of steaming ramen? Ingenious, we say.
