Red Farm
Dining solo doesn't necessarily mean that you have to enjoy your meal while keeping to yourself. In fact, part of the excitement of eating alone is the crap shoot of who you may meet! No restaurant better fosters this unpremeditated meeting over a meal than RedFarm, a modern chinese restaurant in the West Village. With its communal tables, you may have gone in alone but will be forced to sit next to a stranger or two. Even if you don't feel like socializing, the scrumptious dim sum small plates served at RedFarm are so yummy that you'll want to share your delight with the strangers around you.
