Eataly's Rooftop Reopens With The Flower-Filled Serra Fiorita By Birreria

Is any season complete without a 'gram at Eataly's famously photo-worthy, decor-rotating rooftop, SERRA by Birreria? Obviously not. So, thankfully, while there's still some summer left in the city, the Italian-inspired hot spot has finally reopened as SERRA FIORITA

The flowering rooftop greenhouse boasts a canopy of colorful blooms along with its usual rustic flair that aims to take visitors on a trip to the Italian countryside. Their menu offers a similar journey, featuring the flavors of a classic Italian summer, focusing on fresh vegetables and produce from both local farms and motherland producers alike. This season, SERRA has also launched a "Cene Fiorite" or flower dinner, a curated menu to discover how the elements of flowers - whole, seeds, pollen, etc. - have been and can be used in cooking in a variety of ways.

As for the most important part (we mean booze, not safety - although we'll get to that in a moment), SERRA's beverage program includes a new "Build Your Own Gin & Tonic" cart with Malfy Gin, where you can choose your gin base, flavored tonic, and even top off your cocktail with edible flowers. How whimsical!

In accordance to CDC and state guidelines, the Flatiron rooftop eatery is taking all the typical precautions to ensure the safety of guests, including capacity limits, limited contact with staff, hand sanitizing stations, spaced-out tables with dividers, and fully sanitized tables and utensils between guest seatings. And, of course, you should be wearing a mask before and after your meal.
