All you poor souls perpetually stuck on the wait list for a table at L'Artusi, your time has finally come.
Well, maybe.
Everyone's favorite West Village pasta spot has just opened a new restaurant and wine bar! Located only a block away at 520 Hudson Street, b’artusi (like, how amazing is this name!?) is a bright, colorful 40-seat space that - get this - is walk-ins only! While you won't be fighting on Resy for a reservation, chances are you'll be fighting to get to the front of the long line of desperate patrons cued up on the sidewalk. But hey, if you get there super early or super late, at least you've got a chance!
With long-time L'Artusi executive chef Joe Vigorito overseeing the kitchen, this place is sure to be a culinary destination. How does a Sicilian Chopped Salad with finocchiona, olives, fried chickpeas, and peaches to start, Braised Short Rib Lasagna with red wine-braised short rib seasoned lightly with horseradish and orange zest, layered with fresh pasta and mozzarella cheese as a main, a side of Broccoli ‘Cacio e Pepe’ with pecorino and lemon for the table, and a Warm Spiced Pear Crostata with maple walnut gelato to finish it all up sound?
b’artusi is open for lunch and dinner from noon until midnight Sunday through Thursday, and until 1AM on Friday and Saturday.
See you there!
