Stop whatever you're doing and get your tush down to Momoya SoHo!
Each season the downtown spot's executive pastry chef Norie Uematsu dreams up a new fantastical parfait creation. And this summer, she's truly outdone herself.
While it's certainly easy to fill up on Momoya's dinner offerings - the Wagyu Beef Tataki, Sweet Potato Tempura, Miso Black Cod, and Sushi & Sashimi Tasting are of particular note - saving room for the Haru Ranman (Spring in Full Bloom) is a must.
Served elegantly in a large wine glass, the dessert turns many a head as it makes its way to the table.
Layers of Lychee Lemon Sakura Jelly, Strawberry Compote, Sakura Leaf Foam, Vanilla Crumble, Amazake Ganache Whip, Strawberry Tonka Sorbet, Condensed Milk Ice Cream, Butter Cookie, Guava Red Shiso Mousse, Coconut Tuile, Strawberry, Sakura Mochi, Yomogi Kinako Macarron, Hanami Dango and a final pink dusting of Sakura Powder make for the ultimate fresh, sweet experience.
And not for nothing, but damn is this thing Instagrammable!
Be sure to catch the dessert before it's swapped out in the fall!
