Cue drool.
Murray's Cheese, a favorite of fromage connoisseurs, is taking their love of the dairy delicacy to the next level. This week, Murray's Mac & Cheese will be making its soft (no pun intended) debut on Bleecker Street, next door to the iconic shop's flagship West Village location.
Executive chef David Elkins has curated a creative selection of the comfort food, from Buffalo Chicken to Carbonara to French Onion. There's even a special breakfast blend featuring sausage, cheddar, bacon, and egg. And while cheese obviously plays a huge role, the "mac" part of the dishes will be equally impressive: Murray's teamed up with Brooklyn-based pasta maker Sfoglini to exclusively use their ridge-filled pastas - perfect for getting cheese into every bite.
The 20-seat spot will have a fast-casual setup, and offer dishes to-go. As if we needed a reason to ditch the daily lunchtime salads.
Murray's Mac & Cheese (254 Bleecker Street) will be open with limited menu offerings from Tuesday, February 26 through Thursday, February 28. Its official opening will be Friday, March 1.
