Finding Hudson Clearwater can a bit of an Easter egg hunt the first go around. A brick wall and green door are the only street markers. Simple, yes. But not pejoratively so, as beyond that green door is one of New York's more perfect dining options. From their beautiful garden patio to their rustic-chic dining room, it's the type of restaurant that makes any meal feel intimate and warm. And it doesn't help that the food is out of control. I mean homemade cinnamon rolls with cream cheese maple frosting? Come on.
