La Gamelle
It seems that the Lower East Side has developed into quite the Little Paris with the strip of restaurants that have sprung up and taken chic residence on Bowery. First, Cherche Midi, then Rebelle, and now La Gamelle. A menu spanning all of the French classics, how could we not be on board with the charcuterie game they've got going on? Pâté for days. Personally, we prefer the rabbit with pistachio and prunes. When you've finished fighting over every last smear of that, the salade de canard will prove an adequate rebound.
