Barbuto - Before It's Too Late

BarbutoWe die for Barbuto. So upon hearing the news that the restaurant itself is nearing an end - at least at its current location, an open-air West Village street corner seat that restaurant dreams are made of - it's tough to think about saying pasta la vista to this most perfect Italian dining perch. With no clear timeline of when the beloved spot will be closing its garage doors, best to treat every weekend as if it is the last, with orders of Pizza Uovo, Linguettine Alla Carbonara, and of course, Crespella, an Italian pancake with blood orange and mascarpone.
