The Bruffin Cafe - Not a Clue
Gansevoort Market is a great stop for any taste testing foodie. They've pizza, gelato, tacos, sushi. All the New York culinary finds you'd expect from a trendy, Smorgasburg-esque downtown dining hall. One stand that will give you pause however is The Bruffin Cafe. After many a minute lingering around their counter, confused face and all, plus many more a minute researching this question mark of a pastry online, I, like you just reading about this bizarrely named baked good for the first time, am still the most confused at to what exactly a bruffin is. This weekend is the weekend to bite the bullet and finally brunch the bruffin. Then, and only then, may you perhaps even be able to begin to consider attempting to comprehend the "Bruffin Bowl."
