Delicatessen - Lactose Tolerant
Delicatessen may have a host of brunch-y menu items, but let's be real, this place is a pure mac and cheese bar masquerading as a restaurant. The eggs, the sandwiches, the salads, the burgers. All well and good. But seriously - salad or bubbling skillet of baked macaroni and cheese? It's a stupid question. Especially stupid considering what a revelation the 'Macbar Style' section of their menu is, complete with the Mac Reuben, with braised corned beef, pickled sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and rye croutons, the Mac Quack, with duck confit, white cheddar and fontina, and caramelized onions, and the Lobsta' Mac, piled with cognac, tarragon, mascarpone, and piled with chunks of lobster. Obviously, they're a bit craftier than your average box of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.
