Cherche Midi
As it is, Keith McNally's Cherche Midi is a scene out of some reminiscent piece of French cinema, white tiled walls and all- dressed in simple bistro designs, all combining for a gesture of grandeur that out-cools even Balthazaar. For those boasting a heightened palette, fond of the finer things, why not a plate of your average, everyday Joe Lobster Scrambled Eggs? Most start their day with the requisite crustacean breakfast scramble, creme fraiche, chives and toast, no? Ah, well - even if lobster before noon's not your ish, no need to go bourgeoisie as the Pot de Fromage, a parmesan custard served with anchovy butter toast, is still a fittingly acceptable way to start the day.
