Charlie Bird
Personally, we like to enjoy our perhaps-against-our-better-judgement afternoon pasta with a little green juice aperitif. It's the Gwyneth Goop Paltrow balance lover in us. At Charlie Bird in the South Village, that unassuming little nest of cool rubbing shoulders with the West Village and Soho, the Razor Clams with fennel and pickled chiles is a requisite start to your meal. Loaf about with a few shell shots of that, a piece or two or their shame-worthy bread, a little Rigatoni Napoletana action to indulge your inner pastafarian, and, finalement, an après-brunch glass of Green Envy goodness. Kale, apple, cucumber, pineapple, a few leaves of that self confidence you lost around that third piece of olive oil dipped bread.
