Those looking for classic Italian done right should also look into this new NoHo restaurant, co-owned by Marlo Carbone and Rich Torrisi (of Parm and Torrisi Italian Specialties.) As you walk by the antique neon entrance sign and take a seat at one of the simply decorated tables, you will be greeted with generous hunks of warm bread and Parmesean, as well as a sprawling menu. Large plates of saucy pastas and baked clams are equal parts delicious and comforting, and can be paired perfectly with one of the restaurant's many wine offerings. Make sure to save room for to-die-for desserts including a gargantuan slice of carrot cake with ginger icing and a truly elegant rendition of tiramisu.
