Comfort food with some Filipino influence is the name of the game at The Usual, the recently opened Nolita spot from Alvin Cailan, who is behind LA cult favorite, Eggslut. His first New York restaurant features a raw bar, pasta, and Louisiana-style fried chicken in a stylish space.
