L'Apicio named after a celebrated 18th Century Italian cookbook is the latest offering from Executive chef
Gabe Thompson and Beverage Director
Joe Campanale (both of
dell'anima,
L'Artusi, and
Anfora). Like its predecessors, L'Apicio is an unpretentious restaurant serving up generous proportions making it popular with crowds, but its large-scale operation (complete with separate front lounge) elevates it from simply another "good" Italian restaurant to a restaurant where you can feel comfortable taking your most finicky client or employer.
