Omar Hernandez's Vaudeville Supper Club Is Back At La Goulue

by Stephanie Maida · February 15, 2022

Leave it to beloved nightlife impresario and resident ringleader of the social set, Omar Hernandez, to do the seemingly impossible: make chic French haunt La Goulue even chicer.

How'd he do it? Well, he simply channeled the spirit of exclusivity and entertainment à la his past haunts (like Omar's La Ranita and La Boîte) into a pop-up supper club tucked inside the iconic Upper East Side eatery. The result is OH LA LA, the vibrant, aptly named dinner party that has now returned for the winter season.

The immersive dining experience embraces the glamorous nostalgia of dinner-and-a-show vaudeville, featuring a roster of singers, musicians, and performers all within La Goulue's elegant private room. In addition to the cheeky live entertainment, guests are treated to a curated menu from celebrated chef Antoine Camin, with upscale selections like Terrine De Foie Gras Mi-Cuit and Filet Mignon Au Poivre. The entrees, of course, are perfectly paired with specialty cocktails including the OH LA LA (Blanco tequila, lime, cordial fresh raspberries and egg whites) and Holy Grail (Legunas Repo tequila, Johnny Walker Black and Demerara sugar).

If you're in the market for a truly unique and seriously stylish night out, snag your spot at OH LA LA Thursdays through Saturdays HERE (and don't forget to raise a glass to Omar!).
