1850's Irish-American Pub

1850's Irish-American Pub
Even though America had gained its independence nearly half a century before, there were still thousands of Europeans migrating west to call the new country home. Of these was a large Irish population who ruled the streets of New York in the mid-1800s. As an homage to this time, The Dead Rabbit Grocery and Grog, a 19th Century Irish pub and tavern in FiDi, serves up 72 "historically accurate" libations inspired by the Civil War and the Tammany Hall era. Decorated with period pieces throughout a four-story landmark building, you'll feel part of the Gangs of New York in this Wall Street watering hole.
