Al fresco season is upon us! And downtown's chillest restaurant has just debuted a laundry list of new offerings sure to solidify their hot spot standing.
Tucked away on the Lower East Side, modern Australian cafe Sonnyboy (I mean, does anyone do it better than the Australians!?) is prête-à-party for summer 2021.
They've their entirely new patio expansion, perched just across the street from their indoor establishment, which is giving us major Hamptons beer garden vibes if we do say so ourselves.
They've a new lunch and dinner menu, featuring a bounty of seasonal dishes inspired by the culinary culture of the Founders' home country. Let's just say their "Chicken Parmy," an Aussie pub classic, is everything!
They've an updated cocktail menu that'll have you happy to wait on the inevitable line of hopeful patrons that will be formed on Rivington Street, desperate to get a table. There's the Sonnyboy Spritz, the Watermalone 2.0, and perhaps our personal favorite, Poolside - a pineapple and jalapeno infused mezcal margarita.
And they've even got their weekly schedule of specials lined up. Tuesdays enjoy half price bottles of wine (they rotate their natural wine list each week so you'll never get bored). Wednesdays you'll get a free drink of your choosing when you order their Chicken Parmy (plus a crazy big pile of fries). And from 4PM - 6PM daily, you can live it up happy hour style with a $10 double patty beef burger, $9 cocktails and $2 off all beer and cider.
So, see you there?
