The Four Horsemen
A more casual crowd-favorite, acclaimed eatery and wine bar The Four Horsemen earned itself a Michelin star without being too buttoned-up. It's beloved for its rotating, seasonal menus and epic wine list. So yes, it is possible to go on a first date at a Michelin-starred spot without it being weird or over-the-top. Also, one of its owners is James Murphy from LCD Soundsystem, so that's pretty cool.
