Hawksmoor

If you're looking for a particularly posh dinner that's sure to earn you major points with a carnivore, we have the British import for you. Highly acclaimed London-based chophouse Hawksmoor has made its U.S. debut in the historic United Charities Building, a landmarked locale in Gramercy that has been closed to the public for over a century. Built in 1892, the building's lavish interiors have been gorgeously restored, with 30-foot vaulted ceilings, elaborate crown molding, stained glass, and a 50-seat wraparound brass-topped bar.
