Satisfying Chinese food above Canal St. does in fact exist at Phillipe by Phillipe Chow on 60th and Madison Ave. With classic Beijing-style favorites like Peking duck, kung pao chicken, and drunken sea bass, Phillipe is guaranteed to leave you satisfied before you're forced to trek back downtown post-meal. And don't expect this UES eatery to be too typical in all of their dish renditions - i.e. think filet mignon and broccoli instead of your usual questionably sourced beef and broccoli.
