Ellen's Stardust Diner
Let's be clear, there isn't another place like this in New York City. Whether you are a tourist or a born and raise New Yorker, you have to try this place out at least once. This retro, loud, and kooky diner is a nostalgic trip. Filled with 1950s junk, a model train set running through the dinning room and singing staff- it fulfills a fantasy of living in a world where people randomly break out into a song.

Vynl
There's nothing cooler than this music themed diner. This NYC mini chain is all about good, old fashioned records- you know, the ones your parents listened to. LPs are hung up, the bathrooms are celebrity themed, there's a "hall of fame" of Barbie dolls dressed up as MC Hammer and NKOTB, beach balls are hanging from the ceiling and the best part, the menus are made of- yup, you guessed it- old record sleeves . The menu comes with an array of food options- from Pad Thai, Chicken Caesar Salad, truffle Mac n' Cheese (Yep, TRUFFLE), to a TLT (Tofu Lettuce and Tomato Sandwhich) it clearly fulfills everyone's cravings.
