Happened to a client a few years back. MiL decided the wedding was a funeral. She hired people to come stand along the street outside the chapel wearing black to witness the tragedy.
She just stood outside the chapel for the entire ceremony, dressed all in black, with her entourage of "mourners."
It was honestly a bit disturbing.
