Coney Island, Brooklyn

The CycloneConey Island, one of the most iconic beaches in America, still serves its locals and tourists with pristine beaches and legendary rides and eateries. You can take a few rides on the The Cyclone roller coaster or the ferris wheel, learn how to surf, fish on the newly renovated but well-known Steeplechase pier, grab a dog and fries at Nathan’s, and then head over to the New York Aquarium. If you’re a baseball fan, go see the Brooklyn Cyclones (Minor League Baseball) play. Best of all, it is free admission to its beaches. How to get here?
