Coney Island, Brooklyn
Coney Island, one of the most iconic beaches in America, still serves its locals and tourists with pristine beaches and legendary rides and eateries. You can take a few rides on the The Cyclone roller coaster or the ferris wheel, learn how to surf, fish on the newly renovated but well-known Steeplechase pier, grab a dog and fries at Nathan’s, and then head over to the New York Aquarium. If you’re a baseball fan, go see the Brooklyn Cyclones (Minor League Baseball) play. Best of all, it is free admission to its beaches.
