South Beach serves as one of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Beaches. You can bath in the ocean or bath in the sun, all while having a view of the Verazzano Bridge. Feeling energetic? Emerge yourself in South Beach’s activities such as biking and jogging on the boardwalk, kayaking, playing tennis or fishing off the Ocean Breeze Fishing Pier. Be sure to check out the beach's Fountain of Dolphins. There is also free admission to the beach.
Take the Staten Island Ferry (siferry.com) from Manhattan, then bus S51.
