I am getting pumped for this year's Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Mainly because it will be the first one that Guest of a Guest is involved in, and also of course, because it fuels my love of movies. I can't think of a better backdrop for watching some of the year's best independent films, in between the snow capped Colorado Rockies.
This year, besides all of the films being showcased (full list HERE), I'm excited to see:
Our friends from The Randolph, along with Vice Magazine, St. Germaine, and Markers Mark will kick off the festival by taking over the "Downstairs", Danny Masterson's new spot. We will be there documenting every snow bunny that stops in. They have much more in store as the week progresses.
Our other friends at the Strategic Group will be at "The Sundance Lift" a new official sponsor venue at the Town Lift on lower Main Street. Entertainment Weekly will be there, along with Stella Artois, The "got Milk?" campaing, The MySpace Cafe, and a TAO Lounge.
There will be loads of movie stars mixing and mingling with our New York friends including those stars that have make up the cast's of the movies presented including: Philip Symour Hoffman, Toni Collette, Spike Lee, Kevin Spacey, Anne Heche, Ashton Kutcher, Emily Watson, Jim Carrey, Ewan McGregor, Mary Tyler Morre, Billy Bob Thorton, Kim Basinger, Winona Ryder, Mickey Rourke, Robin Williams and many others.
