Breakneck Ridge Loop
Where: 3250 Route 9D, Cold Spring, NY
What: 2.8 miles, strenuous (in case it's name didn't make that clear)
Why: Breakneck is definitely not for the beginner or the faint of heart. This hike begins with climbing a huge rock wall, and the challenges don't stop there. Although the hike is taxing, you will end the day feeling exhilarated and refreshed.
