Rockaway Beach, a gem among NYC beaches, is a straight-shot on the A train for those days when all you need is to GTFO of the city. You have to tear us away from the white sand and shoreline. Rockaway is our personal favorite given the array of restaurants and bars close to the water. Wash down your piña colada from neighborhood favorite Conolly's with tacos from Tacoway Beach.
