The burial place of author Washington Irving in the famous Sleepy Hollow Cemetery is only one reason to get your butt to Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow this fall season. With gorgeous foliage, fun fall festivals and quaint streets, these two neighboring towns do not disappoint. Ditch the kitschy kid hayrides and opt for adult activities like spiked apple cider and romantic nights at historic locales. I've been three times, and y'all, it's wonderful.
