Lolo Jones, Hurdles

The favorite to win the 100 meter hurdles at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Lolo Jones, tripped and hobbled to a disappointing 7th place finish. Lolo has been searching for a shot at redemption ever since her slip-up in '08, and she'll get her chance when she returns to the event in London. Jones has won three World Indoor Championships for hurdling, in 2007, 2008, and 2010, but the coveted Olympic medal still eludes her. At the US Olympic Trials, Lolo squeaked by with a third place finish, barely qualifying for a spot on the team. Jones has gained a reputation as one of the hottest female Olympians, but similarly to Jets QB Tim Tebow, she has vowed to remain a virgin until she is married. If she can pull of the comeback and medal in London, it will truly be one of the great underdog stories of the Olympics. [Photo via]
