Dining: Restaurant Akrame
My preconceived notions of fine-dining in Paris left me expecting an array of foams and petite bites of foie gras. I could not have been more wrong. The Michelin starred tasting menu by head chef and owner, Akrame Benallal, was incredibly intricate and memorable, leaving us devouring and discussing each of the 7 courses one by one. We were lucky enough to meet Akrame himself, who walked us through the menu as well as the carefully curated wine pairings. Ultimately, this was one of the most amazing meals I've ever had. And yes, that's considering my many New York dining excursions.
