Café de L’Esplanade
Yet another splendid location from the Costes group and one perhaps a bit more hidden, this Left Bank restaurant and bar overlooks Les Invalides, the spectacularly audacious tomb of Napoleon. The military theme is incorporated throughout the spot with canons and heavy insignia. Like most authentic Parisian restaurants, there is sidewalk seating, all the better to admire the imperial efforts of days past.
