Seeing that this is a political-themed party, it makes sense that we try to be environmentally friendly by recycling. Instead of going out and buying new, disposable decorations, you can just as easily use any leftover red, white and blue decorations from the 4th of July. After all, the election is about showing national pride, no matter what your political affiliation. If you've already thrown out your 4th of July items, then just ask around. We're sure at least one of your friends have some hoarding tendencies you can take advantage of.
Get really creative and personalize your party
Have a photo booth station for your guests with fun props like Uncle Sam and Mrs. Sam cut-outs. Leave some disposable cameras around so guests can have some fun with their photos. You can even have a decorating station where people can include slogans and speech bubbles on their photos. Or you know, you could go all out like this family below and decorate your trees...
