Don't be fooled, SLC is more than just its Mormon heritage. While the Salt Lake Temple remains a focal point downtown, the city is becoming a bit more modern (many restaurants now have liquor licenses!). The unemployment rate of the area is extremely low and five gorgeous national parks surround it.
