Today, I look a photos inside the hottest subway cars in NYC, why Facebook is like a giant ponzi scheme and my unique way of judging personalities. Plus! The best NYC fiction, the most beautiful magazines, and my favorite new designer. THERE'S TONS TODAY! Go get started....

    1. NYC's Hottest Subway Routes (with photos). This is the best thing on the Internet today. Seriously. I'm obsessed with whoever over there at Refinery went out there and took these photos. I may actually have to start riding the subway! [Refinery29]

    2. Former Newsweek writer quits journalism to join the Peace Corps. Blames it all on Angelina Jolie. [Newsweek]

    3. Facebook is a ponzi scheme and here's your proof. In case you haven't' caught on yet. [jperla]

But! People all over the world want a chance to be on it! (Zuckerberg makes appearance on Tunisian protest banner). [Soup]

    5. Playboy magazine will now be available on your iPads! [Gawker]

    6. Pretty much sums up social media:

    7. Turtle Calls. I have no idea what the use of this would be, but I'm certain it's of use. "For two (2) dollars i will call your friend or enemy or boss or whoever and pretend to be a turtle for up to two (2) minutes. [Flavorpill]

    8. Ah, the old plight of the middle-aged wanna be rockstars. [NYT]

    9. I have a really solid system for judging a person. There are the kind of people that get a kick out of celebrating Valentine's Day, and there are the kind of people that are like "meh." I'm the latter. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing. However, V-day related posts are sprouting up everywhere today. Like this one of not-so-subtle "Valentine's Day Gifts You'll Fall Hard For." So if you're the former, get into it! [Refinery29]

    10. VYOU. Check out Chuck Klosterman talking about writing styles, typewriters and paralysis and many more bloggers talking about blogging. [vyou]

    11. These magazines (left) are beautiful aren't they? [Hyde or Die]

    12. This Chinese Mother piece is getting a TON of action. In Ross's words: "Ugh. Make it stop." (It's not stopping-at least until after the dudes get their chance to weigh in). David Brooks: [NYT]  John Carney: [CNBC]

    13. Oprah has made a lot of people famous. But, some of her endorsements have come with drama and controversy. Check out these Top Literary Scandals. [Flavorwire]

    14. This is awesome. Check out this real video of President Lyndon Johnson ordering custom pants from the Haggar clothing company. Some of the most intimate words - and belches - we've ever heard from the mouth of a President. [via Putthison]

    15. Why Wikileaks matter. [YoungManhattanite]

    16. Parenting by gays more common in the south, census shows. "The changes may seem surprising for a city where churches that have long condemned homosexuality remain a powerful force...but they have found that Jacksonville, FL is home to one of the biggest populations of gay parents in the country. [NYT]

    17. Three words: Edible. Glitter. Stars. Not my thing but certain someone out there will enjoy. [simplyjess]

    18. MTV SKins. "I watched 'Family Guy' reruns instead of MTV's "Skins" last night. So the internet makes no sense today." This is actually how I felt yesterday. [YM]

    19. How iPad could transform the TV-watching experience. The first device to offer an App Store that works with live TV broadcast is very exciting. [Dens]

    20. By far, my favorite photo from the Golden Globes. Check out Michael Douglas in the backgroud. heh. [InOtherNews]

    21. A new novel about President Obama's campaign is making waves in Washington, but nobody knows who wrote it. [WaPoStlye]

    22. "The Real Housewives of Bushwick" I too am addicted to the designer JoAnn Berman, the 53-year-old Ecco Domani semi-finalist's latest collection. [OfaKind]

    23. How to work better. Solid Advice. [Flavorpill]

    24. Brochella. Everyone may be talking about today's Coachella acts, but they are missing out on the real fun, BROCHELLA! [Memecore]

    25. Baby Yoga. Remember those crazy videos going around depicting a crazy lady swinging babies, all in the name of "Yoga." No one, including me, could believe it was real. Guess what? We were all wrong. It's real. Plus there's all other sort of crazy adventures people are having with their babies. Like swimming and stuff! Duuuuuude. [Gawker]

    26. Foursquare co-founder Naveen Selvadurai was onstage with Bloomberg for the "State of the City" speech today. So so cool! [Dens]

    27. GofG event manager, Sarah Kunst, is moving on and I couldn't be more excited for her. Today, she wrote this incredibly touching post about her 2 years spent here and would be lying if I told you that it didn't choke me up: [SarahKunst]

    28. Finally, have you ever wondered what it's like to be drunk in the back of a NYC cab? Artist Alexandra Pacula does a great job of summing up the experience with oil on canvas. [Flavorwire]
