By the age of 13, we could only hope to find a good seat in Math class (front row and center, thank you very much... a kid's gotta concentrate, right?).  By the age of 13, blogger Tavi Gevinson had a seat at NYFW.  At age 16, we were vying for the Editor-in-Chief spot at our high school newspaper.  At age 16, Tavi (and we're going to use the present tense here because she's still 16) is Editor-in-Chief of online magazine Rookie.  The website comes with all the girl-power, gutsy material, and good advice you could ever want (and we want a lot) from and for teens and people who used to be teens.  The Rookie team just came out with Rookie Yearbook One - a print companion for the site - which we're loving so much more than our own slightly dusty high school yearbook (it's from, like, one year ago, but who's counting...).  So Tavi, if you're reading this, just call us so we can have a slumber party and wear super fashionable matching pjs and write in our journals and chew lots of bubblegum and talk about life and stuff, kay?  Here's a casual Tavi-being-humble quote:
Life is very strange and very funny and I am very, very, very lucky that I get to do something I love and that you pay even a smidgen of attention to it, so thank you, times a lot, times a bunch.
