These girls are the Jersey Shore crowd of Japan. They apply pounds of bronzer, use bright eyeshadow, bleach their hair, and accessorize from head to toe.
This alternative fashion trend has been popular for the last decade amongst the rebellious youth in Japan.
You can find them out at late hours of the night, hanging around in clusters on the street. Although they appear friendly in the picture, they are not the most welcoming bunch.
