Japanese girls take pride in customizing their school uniforms and it has become an entirely new fashion statement in itself. It's not surprising to see a girl in her uniform on the weekend or during the summer when school isn't in session.
Girls deck out their uniform by pinning up their skirts and wearing loose socks with either platform boots or penny loafers. The cute schoolgirl look is complete with some sort of tie, long painted nails, and toy key chains on your bag.
Innocence is the key with this look, and girls will hold up the peace sign without fail every time.
