Relax (and party-lite) in Uluwatu
We love the Karma Kandara Resort, with its villa-only accommodation, fabulous restaurants, the most amazing massage and spa treatment rooms in Bali, and their place-to-be-seen beach club Karma Beach Club, which regularly features international DJs from Ibiza. When you’re over being pampered, sign yourself up for some surf lessons or a sunrise hike - there are plenty to choose from depending on your fitness level and time requirements. The loud tourist scene which you will probably want to avoid at all costs is pretty contained to the areas of Kuta and parts of Seminyak, an hour drive away from Uluwatu. (Which is not a bad thing, if you know you have a tendency of suffering from a case of FOMO).
Other things to do in Uluwatu: Enjoy a beautiful seaside dinner at Jimbaran Bay and watch the legendary setting sun light the sky on fire!
