3. You'll meet more people

This one might sound counterintuitive, but hear us out. No one said you had to be "alone" the whole time. In fact, you may end up making more new friends in one night than you did all four years of college. When you're solo you're more likely to be YOLO and just start chatting up strangers. Whether you're asking for directions, a local recommendation, or just hitting up Tinder for a vacation fling, not having your buddy by your side will open you up to all sorts of socializing.
