While it boasts warm beaches year round, an overwhelming hedonistic vibe, endless baklava, hummus, and falafel, it may be easy to forget Tel Aviv's status as one of the most happening party cities in recent years. But with a nightlife scene to rival Manhattan's, and a startup scene to counter Silicon Valley, there's little in Tel Aviv to be missed. Explore Old Jaffa Port, inhale a bowl of fresh hummus at Abu Hassan, and maybe even plan a day trip to neighboring Jerusalem or Haifa while you're there. When it comes to this sleepless city, we highly recommend going sooner than later and fully engaging in all that is "happening" as it is still happening. Decide quickly and check skyscanner asap for a roundtrip ticket out of JFK for ~$500.
