Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race
Commonly called 'The Race to End the World', the annual Wenger Patagonian Expedition stands as one of the world's hardest tests of endurance and athleticism. This 10 day race in February allows 20 co-ed teams of four to trek through previously unknown stretches of land in Chilean Patagonia. The teams put their skills to work as they trek, kayak, climb, mountain bike, and orient themselves through the wild terrain and unpredictable weather. Started in 2004 in an effort to raise awareness about the fragile environment of the Chilean land, this race leads the competitors into magical, awe-inspiring landscapes.
